Director of Accounting

The Director of Accounting reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director and is responsible for the oversight and supervision of accounting staff including the Controller, A/R and A/P Personnel, Payroll Manager and General Ledger Manager. In addition, this position will provide daily oversight of fiscal operations as well as annual cost reconciliations and preparation for agency wide audits.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 yrs. experience in non-profit accounting
• CPA preferred
• Expertise in fund accounting with knowledge of and state, federal and county funding, including Medi-Cal
• Demonstrated knowledge of fiscal regulations
• Experience supervising accounting personnel
